When I think of construction (we’re talking cranes, hard hats, the whole shabang), I think about the vintage photos of construction workers sitting on the steel skeleton of a skyscraper.

And then I flinch.

Why? Well, I’m acrophobic for one. I see their legs dangling off the side as they eat a sandwich or lean against a support beam, and I feel my stomach knot.
