Lighthouse.png

The crisp air whips across your face and you sigh, watching as your breath blows away in a cloud lost in the infinite darkness of the sea. You stand on the ship’s deck peering out over the impenetrable obscurity.

And then you see it: the lighthouse. Land! It’s close, but you must heed the warnings of the lighthouse because if you don’t, you could run the ship on jagged, unforgiving rocks.

Except, that isn’t an issue today, is it? Our ships no longer need lighthouses to direct their approaches.

Now, lighthouses are sentimental fixtures adorning our shorelines, destinations rich with sailing history to which tourists flock. Once beacons of communication and feats of architecture, lighthouses are now relics of a bygone era—a memory of the necessity they no longer are.

From letters in a bottle to morse code, we used to send messages and hope they would arrive at their destination unscathed. Now, we only have to wait for the “delivered” tag to appear under our texts!

Our communication devices keep shrinking as technology evolves.  The minimalizing and micronizing of tech only continues. Eventually, we won’t need cell phones to contact one another.

Soon, with ConcealSmart™ accessories for hidden wearable technology, connected devices will blend seamlessly with the person: an earring, the pin on your lapel, the ring on your finger.  Interlokit’s patented accessories hold the power of personalization and the power of the internet. We connect more of YOU to your world.

As technology advances, evolves, and progresses, we can return to the human connections that brought us to this point without compromising the converging ties between person and tech. Instead, we can unite human and tech while still focusing on one another, on the face in front of you and not the face of wearable tech.

Interlokit is guiding the way to a world of less invasive technology.
